On Wednesday 26th June we welcomed some of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race 2019-20 crew who visited Marlow HQ to learn more about the rope-making manufacturing process and to see the Clipper Race D2 Racing lines being made, break load tested and spliced.

This was followed by a lesson on how to splice their own D2 covered eye splice which they all mastered before making their way home.

Marlow are proud to have been the official rope supplier to the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race for the past 17 years and we’re looking forward to the start of the next Race this September!
