EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG FEMALE SAILORS!

Marlow is pleased to support the RYA-backed Female Scorpion Project, inviting female sailors aged 18-21 to apply for an action-packed coaching schedule leading up to the 2025 Scorpion National Championships in August.

This initiative offers four places for aspiring racing sailors to benefit from a comprehensive technical performance coaching programme from May to August 2025. Participants will learn about rig turning, boat preparation, and training. Working with experienced championship sailors and coaches to develop the skills needed to excel in competitive sailing.

A variety of coaches, sailors and technical experts have been lined up to support and contribute to the project, including Olympian top coach Stevie Morrison.

This is a fantastic opportunity for young female sailors to gain essential technical knowledge and compete effectively across the sport. The programme, supervised by the RYA’s Coaching Development Team, aims to be accessible and inclusive, with training, boats and accommodation in Portland provided.
