As we see events and exhibitions returning for 2021, Marlow Ropes exhibited at their first boat show since the pandemic. Attending the 10 day show in support of their UK customers on stand J214, Marlow had some great key events and activities throughout the show.

Friday 11^th : Welcoming Olympic champions to the stand

We welcomed our Marlow Ambassadors and British Sailing Team members 49er Gold medallist Stuart Bithell and 49erFX silver medallist Charlotte Dobson to the stand to discuss rope developments, success of The Olympics 2021 and what’s next for their career. To watch the interview, click here.

Sunday 12th : Mast climbing with Ian Herbert Jones. 

Marlow Ambassador and Golden Globe Race skipper, Ian Herbert Jones gave a demo of how to climb the mast safely. In his demo, Ian used our new BLUE OCEAN^® STATIC made from 100% recycled waste plastic bottles which is used worldwide by professional Rope Access technicians. Friday 17^th : What is Blue Ocean®?

David Mossman, Marlow’s UK Sales Manager will be giving a presentation on Marlow’s sustainable and environmental mission. Discussing the meaning of Blue Ocean^®, why it’s important for the industry and what changes they have made to their manufacturing processes to become more sustainable.

The GreenBlue, an environmental programme created by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and British Marine are supporting Marlow’s sustainable push for the yachting industry on stand J117.
