Marlow Doublebraid used in Lava Sampling Volcanic Expedition
Marlow gets involved in the supply of rope for a range of adventurous expeditions that take scientists and explorers into some of the world’s most harsh environments.
We recently supplied rope for a UCL Earth sciences expedition to Ol Doinyo Lengai Volcano in Tanzania. The Deep Carbon Observatory (DCO) funded expedition took place to collect the first post-2007 natrocarbonatite lava samples from the volcano using a specialist pulley system using Marlow’s doublebraid.
