Marlow Ropes regularly supply bespoke rope products for a range of film and television productions and are proud of their association with some of the leading broadcasters and production houses. This summer we were delighted to work with the BBC for an exciting children’s makeover series called ‘The Dengineers’, which will start airing on the CBBC Channel in November 2017.
CBBC’s The Dengineers makes wishes come true, creating out-of-this-world dens for children all over the UK. The Dengineers recently visited Claire House Hospice, a BBC Children in Need supported charity, in Liverpool to build their biggest den yet, giving the children and their siblings somewhere to enjoy and make happy memories.
Marlow donated their non-rot, UV resistant Hardy Hemp rope to the team to make the handrails and walkways for the den area. Claire House Hospice commented on Marlow’s donation and help towards the beneficial project.
“A massive, massive thank you for everything you did and provided us with at Claire House, Liverpool. The end result was fantastic, thanks in part to the wonderful colours you provided us with. All the children, families and staff were completely blown away! I don’t have enough words to explain what a difference this den and your help has made to the children and families at Claire House.”
