Marlow, the world’s leading performance yachting rope manufacturer, has expanded its support of the Royal Yachting Association’s racing programmes by announcing its sponsorship of the RYA’s National Match Racing Championship.

Marlow, who has enjoyed a successful partnership with the British Sailing Team for 20 years, becomes the title sponsor of the Marlow Women’s Match Racing Championship for the next two years and will be supporting partners of the RYA’s ten other National Match Racing Championship events in 2018 and 2019.

The RYA National Match Racing Series is a sailor’s first step towards elite match racing events such as the Women’s International Match Racing Series, America’s Cup and World Match Race Tour.

The leading World and British match racers, Ian Williams, Ben Ainslie, Paul Campbell-James, David Carr, Nick Hutton, Annabel Vose and Lucy MacGregor, began their sailing careers by competing in this series.
