We are pleased to announce that Marlow Ropes has been awarded Southeast Export Champion status by the Department for Business and Trade (DBT). In the words of DBT, the award recognises our outstanding export performance and commitment to growing our international business, following our 60 year history of exporting british made ropes .  This, combined with our strong track record of innovation and customer service has helped to build our loyal customer base in international markets.

Over the years we have taken pride in developing and supplying various rope solutions that respond  to specialist global requirements including recycled polyester yachting lines to marine research vessels circumnavigating the globe, arboriculture ropes for anti-poaching rhino projects in South Africa, military ropes to the Ukrainian Forces, Dyneema products for US aerospace applications and creating rope assemblies for drones delivering medicine and vaccines to remote areas in Africa.

In recent years, we have made significant investments to our export business. In 2013 we opened Marlow Ropes Inc, a sales and distribution office in Massachusetts, USA, and appointed a dedicated team of international export sales professionals to meet demand across all market sectors. We have also invested in new marketing and branding initiatives to support  international growth.

The award of Export Champion status is a significant achievement for us all at Marlow Ropes. It recognises the company’s commitment to international trade and its success in growing its export business.
