MARLOW ROPES’ MANAGING DIRECTOR CELEBRATES 25 YEARS OF LENGTHY SERVICE
On Thursday 16th January, Marlow celebrated Managing Director, Jon Mitchell serving 25 years at Marlow Ropes.
A surprise presentation took place in the presence of the Marlow Management and fellow staff members to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Jon Mitchell’s employment with Marlow.
A stunned Jon stood in disbelief as Paul Honess & Richard Edge, two fellow directors at Marlow recalled his career and recollected humorous anecdotes.
Jon Mitchell began his career at Marlow Ropes in January 1995, as Leisure Marine Van Sales Representative. Since then, Jon has held numerous positions within the organisation such as Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor, Production Planner and Production Manager, gaining experience in every aspect of the company.
Since then, the company has grown in success annually, expanding in North America with the creation of Marlow Ropes Inc. in 2013, and the current construction of new offices on the site where rope has been manufactured since 1807.
Marlow Ropes Chairman, Peter Earp praised Jon for his leadership and passion.
Management and staff across the group want to extend their gratitude to Jon and look forward to continued success in the future.
