Marlow Ropes, the world’s leading manufacturer of performance yachting rope have announced that they will be an official supplier to Hannah Stodel Racing as Hannah and her team embark on their journey to the 2020 Vendee Globe.

As suppliers to the British Sailing Team, Marlow Ropes have had a long and successful relationship with Paralympian Hannah, powering her to three World Championships and 17 World Cup gold medals throughout her career in the Sonar class.

The 32-year-old from Essex is now aiming to become the first disabled sailor to compete in and finish the Vendee Globe, racing 24,000 non-stop around the world without assistance. No disabled person has ever attempted the race and only seven women have competed.

En route to the Vendee, Hannah will compete in some of the toughest tests in sailing, including next year’s Transat Jacques Vabre using high performance rope supplied by Marlow.
