Marlow Ropes Partners with World Of Windsurf (WOW) for Paris 2024
Marlow Ropes are delighted to announce World of Windsurf Girls as their latest Ambassador partnership in the Leisure Marine division. With their sights set on gold for Paris 2024, this independent female team is striving for Olympic glory through a different approach, not seen in windsurfing before.  Â
The partnership will see WOW and Marlow collaborate on a number of levels over the forthcoming months, as the professional windsurfing team made up of Elena Sandera (SUI), and Helle Oppedal (NOR) continue their preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Helle expressed her delight: “Having access to the best possible gear helps us train and race with the peace of mind that our rigging systems are always going to work perfectly, every time. It’s great to be working with the Marlow team who have such depth in experience in the industry. We can’t wait to continue to develop new systems with them running into the Olympics”.Â
With WOW Team Manager, Chris Russell reaffirming the importance of the partnership:Â
“The collaboration is a great fit for both WOW & Marlow. Marlow´s reputation for quality and innovation is exemplary and we´re looking forward to working with the team at a number of levels as we continue to optimise our training and racing efforts”.  Â
Marlow’s Leisure Marine Director Paul Honess comments: Â
“For us it’s a great opportunity to align ourselves with another team who are pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in their sport. We’re delighted to be able to support the WOW team; working with them to further our own knowledge of this new exciting IQ foil class to further develop our product offering in the wind and kitesurfing arena.”Â
Marlow’s windsurfing expert Megan Kraft will be running a Performance & Splicing clinic for the WOW team at their forthcoming World of Wind event at WPNSA on the 8th June. Â
