Marlow Ropes is delighted to announce significant appointments at the start of 2018, following an extremely successful 2017 which saw the Hailsham based rope manufacturer reaching  a milestone year.

LEISURE MARINE SALES

Tom Keegan is Marlow’s new Leisure Marine Van Sales representative and will be making his way around the UK meeting and assisting Marlow’s existing customer base as well developing new growth areas. Tom knows the industry well as a keen Laser Sailor and having spent the last four years working on sailing yachts in Greece, Turkey and the Caribbean.

Graham O’Connor has been promoted to Leisure Marine European Sales Manager, following his employment at Marlow since 2011. Graham will concentrate on developing growing business across Europe (excluding France).

Bruno Guerin joined Marlow at the start of 2018. As a French engineer and with strong experience in industrial sales, Bruno will continue to develop Marlow’s growing business as Sales Manager across both Leisure Marine and Commercial divisions in France.

COMMERCIAL SALES

Koen Vanoutrive is Marlow’s new Benelux Sales Agent, responsible for developing Marlow’s Defence and Industrial business in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Koen has a wealth of experience within the rope and cordage industry and has been a Sales Agent for the last ten years.

Neida Merlos has joined Marlow’s Commercial Team as Export Sales and Customer service Advisor, working in one of the company’s biggest growth areas.  As a Spanish speaker and with a background in logistics and international trade,  Neida will be using her skills to help grow Marlow’s business globally, particularly in South America.

PRODUCTION

Thomas Gee joined Marlow Ropes in the latter part of 2017 as part of an expansion of the Production Team as a second Production Planner, as a result of the growth gained in 2017.

MARKETING

Sian Killean has recently been appointed Marketing Assistant following a six month internship at Marlow.  Sian reports to Marketing Manager Emma Donovan, who joined Marlow in the summer of 2017.
