Marlow Ropes has been the Official Rope Supplier to the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race for the last 20 years. It is one of the toughest endurance challenges on the planet that sees 11 crews from around the world sail Clipper 70 yachts more than 40,000 nautical miles around the globe rigged by Marlow in a true test of fortitude and determination.

Here you can find out more about the Marlow Ropes and Clipper Race partnership and the sustainably manufactured ropes that rig the entire fleet.

We’ll also be publishing regular Race Blogs from our Marlow Brand Ambassador Dr Dianne McGrath – a Clipper Race ‘Round-the-Worlder’ who is racing onboard PSP Logistics over the next 11 months.
Bringing a wealth of adventure experience to this role for Marlow, Dianne’s background in sustainability, policy, management, marketing and endurance gives her a great foundation for both the Clipper Race and Marlow Ropes.

Every Race, Dianne will be sharing her experiences sailing around the world as well as monitoring the performance of the Marlow ropes onboard and sustainability initiatives. We hope you enjoy it.
