Marlow Introduces Clipper Race ambassador Simon Du Bois

For the first time in its’ 16 year partnership as official supplier to the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, Marlow Ropes is delighted to announce its first brand ambassador Simon Du Bois from Montreal, Canada.

Simon will be sailing all of the 8 legs of the Round the World Yacht Race as Bosun on board ‘Visit Seattle’ circumnavigating the full 40,000 nautical miles along with the Marlow ropes. Part of Simon’s duties will include ropecare and ensuring their maintenance on board.

As brand ambassador, Simon will be regularly updating us with race news and giving us an insight into life on board.  He’ll be sending us blogs, images and video at each leg of the race, keeping us informed of the incredible high’s and low’s that he and his team will face during one of the toughest challenges of their lives.
